Concept for upcoming part of AU. Plus AU idea

I have written the first two 3 chapters of an upcoming fanfic. Combines https://www.fimfiction.net/story/545924/team-superstars-winds-of-change and Diamonds of Stardust. But written in a way where reading those two will be optional before hand

It takes place during/just after the G5/Make Your Mark time. It will focus on the return of a character from Diamonds Of Stardust who is thirsty for revenge, under the power of the Alicorn Amulet.

Unless things change, it will focus on Trixie and the light powers that was needed to save the world. That were passed down to three G5 side characters. Who are suffering as result of the thief being after them to take away these powers.

Concept for Light Powers
Light is like a glowing blob of magic energy. She split herself into gem shapes and hid across Equestria for Trixie to find. After Trixie found them, Light merged with her and they saved the world.

Years and years went by. Light formed itself as part of three ponies. One from each tribe. (Kinda like Steven from Steven Universe. But without the gem/hybrid stuff going on. (Which kinda makes sense, because the gem race was an inspiration for Light Powers. But I lost interest in the show over time, so if a crossover does happen it might be non-canon to the AU)

Each pony has unique powers.

They can wear themselves out. The light blast open happens in dire situations and can be draining. While the normal powers aren’t as much.

Water powers, not as much draining as being able to have super-speed I suppose (not final)
