Hey, guuuuuuuuys... · 8:05am March 14th
So first off, I apologize for the delay in PonyTales. I didn't want ya'll thinking I was dead or something when I am in fact very passionate and determined to finish this story. My writing process is kinda weird to begin with, as I tend to write a lot of scenes out of order due to typing realistic dialogue as soon as it comes to my head. If I don't write it down as soon as I think of it, then it disappears and is gone forever and the dialogue I try to come up with doesn't sound nearly as natural. I've also been doing a lot of research for both FiM and DuckTales so that the story sticks to the canon of both shows as much as possible. My laptop has also been glitching a lot lately and not been charging for whatever reason, so that's been fun. Combine that with burnout and being overwhelmed with life...yeah, sorry, I'm just rambling at this point. Anyways, if you've bothered to read this far, I thank you for your patience. This next chapter's been a long time in the making, but the good news is that I've had new ideas popping up left and right, so this story might end up being twice as long than I originally planned. This actually works, cuz I know some shows that have crossovers are double-length features, so that just means more story for you guys! This might also mean shorter chapters, but they'll be published sooner cuz they won't be as long to write. Anyway, I don't know if this is just my sleep-deprived brain venting or making excuses. However you interpret it is up to you, but either way, you won't have to wait much longer! Luckily I have nothing but time for the next few days, so the next chapter should be out soon! Let me know what ya'll think in the comments when it comes out, I'd love to hear your thoughts and how my writing can be improved. If you've gotten this far, thanks again, and have a good day/night!
