Where's my Ms. Glimmer Installment? · 4:40am February 27th
Ms. Glimmer and the Do-Nothing Prince is the latest AU installment in the mostly not AU Enforcerverse (see my user page for more info). Many of my stories interconnect. As a reader of Ms Glimmer, you certainly know it is the 1000th Summer Sun Celebration that will occur in 599 days. Don't get your hopes up; Luna doesn't show up Ms Glimmer. However, her influence and potential is all over it. Before Starlight, before everything, there was Celestia and Luna—and the Princesses Platinum in Unicornia.
The next chapter in Ms. Glimmer will tangentially reference that time period. That reference refers to a newly released Luna story named, To Keep Light in Eternal Darkness. It's a sequel to my pony-famous To Bring Light to Eternal Darkness. The story got accepted into the Royal Canterlot Archives. It was Celestia's story. The sequel was to be a novel centered around Luna. I came up with a great first chapter, but couldn't bring together enough plot elements to create a novel around it.
At least, yet.
I have tweaked that first chapter into a short novelette, staring Luna when she was foal and Celestia was a teen. A couple other familiar names will show up It can be read standalone without missing much by not reading the original novella.
I will publish the story in three chapters and complete it by Friday.
Saturday, I will publish the next Ms. Glimmer installment. To be clear, you don't have to read the Luna story. It just adds context to the events in Ms. Glimmer. It also adds a tiny bit of foreshadowing.
