I've dropped 15 lbs in under a month. · 3:01am February 14th
Obviously, I feel fucking awesome about that.
It's largely due to intermittent fasting for the past 24 days, where I've gone anywhere from 16 to 21 hours without eating every day.
That and meal prep, and tonight's cooking is for the next few days.
Congrats! Though I thought daily fasting was bad for one’s health, am I wrong on that?
Congratulations. I myself could probably stand to wear down a couple of inches around the middle.
Nice job!
Congrats!

If you do it incorrectly, yes. Everyone’s body is different so it’s best to do some research before choosing any type of dieting. Some people respond well to intermittent fasting while others can get sick. I have a family member who did great on the keto diet while another family member got horrendously ill for example. If you can, talk to a doctor. Hope this helps :)
Horray for health and fitness!
Late to say this, but congrats! I too have been losing weight since last June (lost over 55 lbs in total, 19.4 lbs my first month)… you’ll start slowing down and will hit a plateau eventually, so don’t get upset when that happens; just keep up what you’re doing and you’ll continue to be better for it!

I am honestly surprised that I haven't hit that plateau yet.
When I hit it, I'm hoping the weather doesn't suck, because I'm hoping to walk more to keep burning calories.

Hey, I didn’t hit my plateau till around the 50 lb mark (been going up and down from there lol), so you might get lucky and not hit it relatively soon like I did.
And yeah, walking helps (my job requires me to be outside so I get plenty of physical activity… and starting my diet in the hot Atlanta summer helped shed the pounds quick lol), so I’ll keep my fingers crossed to you that the weather will mostly behave for you in that regards!
