Hey everyone. Apologies for the lateness of this post, but … Well, by now you probably know what’s going on at my end of things. I’ll have a dedicated post on things later this week, but for now, if you’re truly in the dark, there’s a brief summary complete with links in the lead-in to last week’s post.
I do want to say thank you to all those of you that have generously donated to the emergency funds that were set up. Thank you for your kindness and your charity, and the aid you’ve offered my hometown.
This has been … Well, I’ll save the full write-up for later this week. I know I need to write this out, in some form or another, to help my processing things, and after I was forced to take the initial post down to avoid the news vultures I would like to give my account of things. But I’m eternally grateful for the kindness of my hometown and community with how they’ve reached out during all of this, and that needs to be spoken of as well, and not just right here at this moment because, well, we’re still working through things here.
