"The Sky is Gone: Acceptance" has concluded on Patreon! + Cover Art Teaser for Part 4! · 7:18pm Nov 16th, 2023
On Saturday, "The Sky is Gone: Acceptance" has concluded on my Patreon account. And like the last time, when Part 2 "The Sky is Gone: Epiphany" concluded there, Part 3 has yet to do that here on FIMFiction.net. The final messages of it will be released here on November 21st. If you don't want to wait until then, you can read the finale of "The Sky is Gone: Acceptance" right now by pledging only 1$ on my Patreon.
And what the conclusion of Part 3 means, is that Part 4 will happen soon. Part 4 of "The Sky is Gone", titled "The Sky is Gone: Repentance", will start releasing on Patreon on November 22nd, exactly one day after the conclusion of Part 3 on here.
In other news, I have also created new cover art for "The Sky is Gone"! The first one is a better version of the cover art I previously created for "The Sky is Gone" (aka, Part 1) and "The Sky is Gone: Epiphany". It always bothered me that only one leaf is seen on it, this looked placed and artificial, so I decided to make a new one eventually, which has happened a few weeks ago. Now there are several leaves on the picture and it looks much more coincidental, like Silverstream just dropped her phone somewhere:

This cover art now adorns the first two parts of "The Sky is Gone".
The second one I created is the cover art for "The Sky is Gone: Repentance" and this is where you will get a little teaser for the next part:

I won't reveal what the details of it mean, this is for you to figure out once Part 4 releases, but the red tint and the blur on Silverstream's phone lend themselves nicely to what will happen next for Silverstream. And I was lucky with that, too, because the red tint was not intentional, my phone's camera just happened to take the picture like that, for unknown reasons. And then I immediately knew that this is perfect for Part 4, so I accepted Fortuna's kiss.
Lastly, there is also one more cover art I created. Which was also graced by Fortuna's generosity, in a different way. But this will not be revealed here, as it is the cover art for Part 5 of "The Sky is Gone". I'll cross a teaser for that once the time comes.
All this cover art for "The Sky is Gone", the new ones and the one from last year, have been made with the help of my first smartphone, which died recently. The port at the bottom is broken, which means I can't charge its battery anymore, and the power button has gotten stuck, so that it's next to impossible to turn it on, it only works anymore with enormous exertion of force.
This phone has served me well over the years, since November 2014, and did so even after the microphone broke three years after I got it. I watched my first pony videos on a smartphone with it and it provided me with space for my fan-made pony music collection, so that I could listen to it outside and during trips. It also accompanied me to many outdoor trips, "Ponies Around the World" included, and was a great help when I drew pictures for the Newbie Artist Training Grounds while not being at my computer, by holding all the reference pictures and screenshots I needed.
That I was able to create three more cover arts for "The Sky is Gone", just as many as I need until Silverstream's story is complete, was a last gift by my first smartphone. They will always hold a special meaning to me because of that.
