So, as you know, Spike has a harem of girls in this story, Twilight being one of them. The Mane 6 were decorated naval officers who were sent to bring Spike back to Equestria by his overprotective mother Celestia. When Twilight and the girls were given new orders to serve on Spike's ship as part of his pirate crew, they were no longer naval officers, they were pirates. How do you guys think Shining Armor would react to her not only leaving the Royal Navy to become a pirate, but also having sex with the Prince of Equestria?

He would see if the prince is worthy of her or go crazy trying to stop him for having twilight in his harem
I think Shining would put Spike through a couple of tests and sees if the latter is worthy of having the former's sister in his harem.
I think Shining would join the crew himself if he gained permission to have sex with Twilight as part of his enlistment bonus.

Isn't Spike already "worthy enough" by being the good guy to his harem girls as he is?
Sure, Shining is Twilight's brother, but Twilight isn't a kid and can make her own choices.
Plus, what the hell took him so long to react? Has it been many months or even a full year when Spike had the mane six a part of his harem?
What took Shining so long to respond?
P.S. And he shouldn't try anything violent against Spike, considering Spike is still the Prince, and the fact that he has to deal with Mama Bear Celestia, or Aunt Luna.

Those are good points, as far as why it took him so long to notice, but this idea was more theoretical than practical. I wasn't talking about actually adding him into the fray, just wondering how he'd react to the situation
