Short answer: I'm taking a break, but I'll be back sometime soon.
Long answer: Since completing Castle Reunion, I've finished a ROMhack of Super Mario Bros 2 that geared me up to seriously making a game of my own called VulpReich. Since starting that project, I've whipped up considerable experience and knowledge about the NES architecture, and I've begun animating, so much so, that I've tricked the NES into running at 2/5 its usual speed, which happens to fall pretty close to the standard framerate for animation. Essentially, my target for VulpReich is to run a cartoon in videogame clothing on the NES.
The amount of progress I made while awaiting moderation alone is enough for me to keep going, so FIMFiction has become a lower priority, sorry to say. But hay, I'll be back within time, possibly before Halloween.
