    Slight Delays With Content

I have returned to working 60 to 70 hours a week, so there will be delays on chapters. I just wanted to give a heads-up.

    Other Content

I do plan things out far ahead time, and do have a sequel story to this one in the works, although it is another sequel that could stand alone. Figured I would give a preview of what might be in that story.

I sat down in my seat, barely able to contain my excitement. I got a few strange looks from the students near me, but I didn't care I was here!

We have some more D&D alignments! Remember, evil doesn't mean haha-bad guy, it means they do things for selfish reasons with little or no concern for others.

    You Decide

Not the most exciting you decide ever, but I'm honestly lost on what to include here. Wild Growth is in a Senate Committee Meeting....what Senate Committee is this and what are they discussing? It's 2043, you decide the issues. Give me your best suggestions.

Side Content: Phobia's Domestic Bliss · 5:24pm Sep 14th, 2023

Here's a little side scene that was mostly writen but ultimately cut since it wasn't advancing anything. Still, it gives a little peek at the start of Phobia's day off.

It was seven in the evening, and Phobia Remedy groggily made her way to the kitchen.

Rosetta looked up from her breakfast fruit as Phobia entered. "Evening, Mi Amore, do you have another busy evening tonight?"

Phobia joined her at the table and grabbed a slice of orange using a wing. "Not tonight. I may have to visit the farm again on Friday, at least, I hope I will need to, and Luna should be visiting us in the next few days sometime, but tonight should be clear."

Rosetta frowned. "Luna is visiting? Do you have anything major happening I should know about?"

"Nothing you need to trouble yourself over, dear," Phobia said, then put the orange slice in her mouth.

"Well, if that's the case. I was thinking that in the morning we could have Moon drive us over to Arachne's so we can see little Madison," Rosetta said with a smile. "I've barely gotten to see our newest grandfoal since she was born. I can help Arachne out for a little while. I love our daughter, but I can't see her temperament going well with a crying foal. She's probably going to be beating the walls once Madison starts surging. Have you spoken with Charlotte? She hasn't come to visit her niece yet."

"If I have I wouldn't be allowed to say," Phobia answered.

Rosetta pouted and then narrowed her eyes. "You don't have your daughter doing work for the Dreamwardens, do you? It is bad enough you have been making Moon give you rides to that farm, but do you need to drag all your foals into it?"

Phobia shook her head. "Charlotte is not working for me or the OMMR. According to Tempest, Charlotte's actually been put on a task force by the army, one dedicated to investigating the OMMR."

Rosetta gasped. "Those scumbags are making your own flesh and blood work against you? It has to be because of ese cabrón, hijo de puta, lambón General Wilson!"

Phobia raised an eyebrow at her. "I thought we agreed you would cut down on the cursing after Moon chewed you out for cussing around his foals."

Her wife muttered off a string of Spanish explicatives too quickly for Phobia to follow. Nineteen years of marriage and she still couldn't understand a word Rosetta said when she did that. Moon, Arachne, Charlotte, and Tempest could understand, but not Phobia. She only understood it when it was said slower, but she understood it was cussing. Phobia tried to avoid rudeness with anyone, but Rosetta had no such qualms. It got really bad when Rosetta's sister visited. Rosetta and Wild Growth usually broke into yelling matches with extreme speeds and volumes, often over the most petty things. She supposed it was a sister thing since Arachne and Charlotte often did the same thing. Phobia was considerably older than her half-sister, step-sister, and adopted sister, so she never grew up with a sibling to know if she would do the same. Then again, Jackie and Jordan always seemed to get along, breaking the family tradition.

Phobia finished off another fruit slice. "I'm confident that Charlotte isn't being coerced into doing anything. You know each of the twins has their own personal quest to get out of my shadow. How better can Charlotte do that than put herself in direct opposition to the OMMR? I'm happy she is doing her own thing, and I'm sure she'll visit on the holidays. Speaking of which, I wonder how Wallace is progressing with the Halloween celebration plans. This is his first year taking charge."

Rosetta grumbled as she finished chewing a slice of mango. She swallowed and continued. "I don't care for you changing the subject. As long as she's happy and it doesn't cause any friction in the family, I suppose I have nothing to complain about. What about visiting Arachne so we can see Madison?"

Phobia nodded. "I am free for the day, so I'm at your command, and I do want to see the baby. Oh, and Moon wanted to let you know that we have two more grandfoals on the way."

Rosetta's eyes lit up. "Two?!!  Wepa!!! Why didn't he tell me himself? We have so much to do! We need to set up a double baby shower, and I need to help the mothers set up a registry. Who are the mothers?"

Phobia grabbed a piece of peach and pointed it at her wife. "He probably is using me as a go-between because you do this. You practically took over everything with both Waxing and Waning's births. Some of the mares joked that you'd have given birth to them if you could have. The two new mothers have a lot of friction with each other, and are unlikely to gel well with Maria and Tynisha–who are at each other's throats more often than not already. There's reasons monogamous relationships are preferable. They don't need any extra friction because of the stress you bring into things."

"I'm not that bad!" Rosetta protested.

"You picked out everything for the nursery for each of them. You tried to get them to move in here instead of the side house. You insisted on being the first person to hold them after they were born-" Phobia listed off.

"You sound like Maria and Tynisha," Rosetta grumbled. "You are supposed to be on my side. I'm just trying to make them part of the family."

"I won't contradict you in public, but I wouldn't be on your side if I wasn't honest with you in private," Phobia said. "You know I don't like the manner in which these foals come to be, but that's no fault of the foals, and I do love them and want them near. I do my best to make this work. Do you want those mares to get fed up and take our grandfoals away so we rarely if ever get to see them? That's what will happen if you keep getting so overbearing. They have the right to do so."

"I- '' Rosetta began, but fell out of her seat as a smiling emoji appeared in front of her face. "¡HIJO DE PUTA!"

"That wasn't a very nice thing to say," the Marshmallow said, watching Rosetta over the edge of the table.

Phobia fell out of her chair as well. "Marshmallow! Do you have to do that!"

"¡Vete pa’l carajo!" Rosetta shouted at the floating face as she climbed back into her chair.

"That was rude too!" the Marshmallow said and made a frowny face. "Phobia, your wife needs to scrub her mouth out with soap. She's got a very dirty-mouth."

Wallace came running in, followed by several night pony mares, ready to defend his Dreamwarden. Then they saw the floating face, rolled their eyes, sighed in disappointment, and exited the kitchen.
