Happy Birthday, Andrea Libman and Chiara Zanni

Today just so happens to be the birthday of two significant voice actors for FiM: Andrea Libman and Chiara Zanni. Andrea is the talented woman who voiced Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Bon Bon, Pumpkin Cake and a number of other characters throughout G4's run. Apparently, she originally auditioned for the role of Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong was originally going to voice Pinkie Pie), though as of now no recordings of this possible audition have surfaced.

Chiara Zanni, meanwhile, is the talented woman who voiced Daring Do in the character's appearances from Season 2 onwards. She did get one other role, voicing a villager in Somnambula's village in "Daring Done?", but Daring Do was her big role.

Andrea and Chiara have had other voice acting roles: Andrea noticeably was the voice of Madeline for the 1995 DiC cartoon series based on the books, and X-23 in the character's first appearance in X-Men: Evolution. Chiara, meanwhile, you might remember as the voice of Hamtaro in the dub of Hamtaro from the early 2000's. I think it's safe to say that both Andrea and Chiara landed new iconic roles with their voice acting assignments in FiM.

Chiara, meanwhile, you might remember as the voice of Hamtaro in the dub of Hamtaro from the early 2000's.

Heh... lately as of this month... I have been getting back into my Hamtaro roots again by naturally looking at Hamtaro content once more. :3

-deep sigh- It just... really bugs me that Hamtaro didn't get much love here in the States, knowing that Episodes 105 to the end as well as the 4 movies never got the chance to show off to have an English Dub release as they end up remaining to be Japan exclusive. :(

5742587 Yes, I do know. It's really a shame none of that got dubbed. But in today's age of reboots and remakes, maybe we'll get to see that content be dubbed for western audiences at last.
