For those wondering why I haven't been doing anything lately

I've been checking the second book I'm going to publish called Lux Locus: The First Awakening. I won't give details right now, but it's a sci-fi fantasy hybrid in the same vein as Warhammer 40K, but with (If I did it right) a balance between grimdark and noblebright with a lot of grays. For the UNIVERSE (not this one book) I have at least 20 alien species (humans included) that will be main

    For my next project

I want to start writing the sequel to my self-published book Reverting Scales. I was going to wait, but it seems it isn't progressing that much in sales, and I don't have the means to pay for advertising.

I finally finished the Helluva Boss fanfic

It was pretty experimental since I was in uncomfortable territory, but it's finally finished and I shall now finish the pony project I put on hold then get back to Sunny Disposition.

    Boom! Big Reveal!

Almost done with the Helluva Boss fanfic. Sorry for taking so long. Started working as a...dishwasher. One chap left.

When it's done I'll finish a project I put on hold here then resume Left Behind: Sunny Disposition (it already has two chapters finished, and the third should be done quite quickly).

In an attempt to vary myself, I wrote a Helluva Boss fanfic · 8:06pm Jul 13th, 2023

No, I'm not abandoning Fimfic nor the fics I started. I just need to try and vary what I write since I've been writing nothing but ponies since 2012. Maybe this'll get me out of my slump or at least delay it.

I know it's not ponies, but if'n you feel like reading it, I'd really appreciate it. (I would've posted it elsewhere, like Ao3, but that site doesn't allow new accounts right now and Fanfiction.net has a shit layout)

You can find it here: Helluva Boss: Forgotten Adoption

A father and his daughter get sent into hell by fault of some 'red creatures'. Trapped in hell, the daughter transforms into something inhuman while the father gradually becomes consumed by the energies of the nine planes. The father looks for a way home while trying to survive in the worst place imaginable filled with monsters and being pursued by a white mask threatening the life of his daughter as he slowly becomes corrupted by the hellish world they've found themselves trapped in.

Yeah that basically why i have so many stories running to, the muse is fickle and not always cooperating.

Actually, the entirety of every story on here is in my head. I just have to transcribe it onto paper. It's motivation that hampers.

I often hear music when i write, perhaps it could help you to?

5737741
I always listen to music. With my brain the way it is, I learned that music helps most parts focus, allowing me to write.

Wattpad doesn't have the horizontal rule option, but other than that it's a pretty decent site. (And you can post any stories- original or fanfiction- there.)

I tried it before and realized that it is extremely unfriendly to new users, or did they change that? Last I was on there was 2017 or 18.

5737878
For new users, I guess it could be a bit hard to use, but after a while you'd get used to it. I started my account there in 2020 or 21, so I can't really remember what my first experience there was like. Just that I was only concerned about writing my story, getting comments/knowing what people thought of it, and then getting more ideas.

...I used to be really devoted to my stories back then.

5737997
I wanted to use it for that as well, but no one wanted to say anything, and updating the book I had there brought me no responses.

Yeah... On Wattpad there's not the feature that shows new stories. It shows stories you might be interested in, based on what you read, but other than that you have to search for whatever you want. That was one of the reasons I considered leaving Wattpad, but then I decided that I'll just stay because there are some people who read my stuff there.

And with the app, the offline story thing is useful...

By the way, when I first started writing there, hardly anyone commented on my stories, and it took me a while to get readers. Patience is a good thing to have...

The comment thing and getting no views is why I bailed in the past and found Inkitt.
