Hey everypony. Are you enjoying my birth month. This month is going to be so packed for a lot of people, especially me. Becuase not only do I can to watch the return of Sonic Prime and WWDITS on my very birthday, but also Fate is getting a new series this month as well. But that's on the public side. What's happening with my fanfictions? Well, Hoodwinked was going to return this month, but I pushed it as a new one shot back to September. Both have finished chapters but if I post them this month, that will make things very packed. Because, not only will you all be getting a new Stuck In Place chapter, but also the Season 6 Prologue at the end of this month, and right between the two will be two chapters of a brand new series called, Something is Very Wrong With Canterlot. Okay, what is Something is Very Wrong With Canterlot? Well, it's a remix and remastering of a dead idea found here, Friendship Lost. This was supposed to be 17 separate stories ranging from one shots to full series, vastly interconnected and spreading long term. However, this idea came out on the tail end of the show ending and thus I hit a stump trying to get this out of the water. I still wrote more chapters for all the stories in the background but slowly let the upload story fall over and decay.
As such Something is Very Wrong With Canterlot? is taking all those ideas and changing them to better into an anthology-style format. The entirety of season one is finished. And I have such confidence in this that I've connected Journey To Hearth's Warming directly to it with a crossover event happen in the season 6 Prologue. And that after August, each month will get three chapters of this new story as well as Journey to Hearth's Warming and Hoodwinked.
Basically, we know that Twilight and Starlight got trapped in the past. The prequel Past Present and Damnation implied that this was intentionally meant to trap them there. That someone other than Starlight and Twilight was playing around with both of them. Well, this new story shows what happened to the Equestria that Twilight and Starlight left behind.
It will involve jumps between the past, present, and future of a 17-month span. Each month gets up to at least six chapters with about 1k words each, and certain months(2,17) gettting way more details and chapters to establish a moment in the middle of the chaos. Look through the link provided to see the basic idea of each month's events. Some of the details have been changed like who the villains are for each month, but the overarching idea will remain the same. There will also be some minor character crossover like mentions of the wendigoes, crooked horns, and a character known simply as Sir Night. More details will become available as this month goes on.
