Equestria Girls Street Addresses: A Weird, Funny Piece of Headcanon · 6:39pm Jul 2nd, 2023
So, with Aces High chapter 4 up (which you should read...and like, and so on so forth), I thought it was about time to write out a funny piece of headcanon I developed rather by accident.
As I mentioned in the author’s notes of chapter 3 of that story, when I put human Rarity’s street address in there, I added a sort of hidden pun. It was something that just popped into my head on a whim while I was writing. After I posted the chapter, I thought “Huh. Going by that logic, what would I do with the other members of the Humane Seven?”
So, to amuse myself, and perhaps amuse all of you, this is what I came up with.
Rarity: 3491 Carousel Road
3491 = 3-4-9-1 = 3 D-I-A (3 Diamonds)
Applejack: 1216 Core Road
1216 = 1-2-16 = A-2-P or APP (Apple)
Rainbow Dash: 2053 Cirrus Street.
2053 = 20-5-3 = 20-%-C (20% Cooler)
Pinkie Pie: 2112 Stone Drive
2112 = 2-1-12 = B-A-L (Balloon)
Twilight Sparkle: 3141 Amethyst Boulevard
3141 = 3.141 (pi)
Side Note: A science nerd like SciTwi might appreciate a house number that’s pi. As for the rest of it, I remember seeing a story a long time ago, I can’t find it now, that suggested the Canterlot in Equestria had streets named after gems, and that’s always something I’ve liked, and has shown up in my own work. Readers of A Tale of Two Suns Book 1 may recall “Onyx Street” in chapters 11 and 12.
Fluttershy: 1149 Forest Lane
1149 = 1-14-9 = A-N-I (ANIMAL)
Sunset Shimmer: 1129 Corn Avenue
1129 = 1-12-9 = A-L-I. With street address, it becomes ALICORN.
That is all.
Yeah that works!
