Da SAME SUNS (D'oh!)
Freaking randomness and puns...
Anyways, hiya guys.
Don't mind the title, as usual. It's suppose to mean the sequel of Laurels.
Get it? Sick quill? Sequel...? I really need a life....
So, to those that have not finished Laurels, there's going to be SPOILERS ahead, so leave.
To those who haven't touched Laurels, you might wanna redirect yourself somewhere else, or you can dig into the story itself, which is still undergoing a wagon of edits so don't expect to see my best there. It's my first story.
Now for the spoilery part:
The title had undergone many changes throughout the last four hours of pondering, but I decided to end up with the name...
Diprosopus
Not the dinosaur! That's Diplodocus. And if you guys were wondering, Diprosopus is a real word. You can find it here
Don't worry. The link is correct.
Now, all trolling aside, and onto the main prospect of the blog here:
The Plotline Of The Story
It will enhance as I progress it, though I've already planned the most important parts of it and fixed it already as the ideas come and go in my head. The main plot might wander off, just like Laurels, though with no such Arcs and past-memories or whatever. I felt sick typing it and I know you guys would regurgitate reading it as well. The Characters
Rarity and Spike will be in there, of course, along with the rest of the Mane Six and their respective counterparts (which means Kane as well, which means Jovern, which means more dragons for some of you dragon fans ). The CMC (including Babs Seed, if I can fit her in) and the princesses will have a bigger role in this story. Then there are the background ponies: Octavia, Crimson, Vinyl, Lyra, Bon Bon, Derpy, Doctor Whooves and such. They'll be added into the story if I can, again, fit them in.
The last of the Crux Four will be inside: that will be Stellar and Caduceus, as well as Cleptius Arrowfaith. I'm planning Gracia (the mare that was the most recent caretaker of Foster Grande Orphanage) to have a bigger role in this too, though I'm still wondering over that. The antagonist (that's supremely evil bad guy for those who hate awesome words) was planned to return, and he will have more than Mirror Mare as a major villain, since Harmony's dead. They'll be mentioned somewhere along the way.
Now for the new characters.
Phoenix and Ollivander, who were mentioned in the lasty-last chapter, will appear as main characters that will help out Pinkie, and yes, there's more of his gang to introduce.
Since it's one year after Pendant Lakes has fallen, Fluttershy's foal would be conceived by then, though the problem is her name (yes, it's a filly). After that, there's still quite a bunch more, but I would ruin the package if I blurted them out here.List of characters being deleted, not in order. (* denotes brief appearances that won't affect the plotline greatly)
The whole of the Palgiot family*, Persimmon Mills and Sidus Sirenheart, the victims of Mirror Mare (obviously), Chief Griffonhooves and Mayor Stencil, The Voyager Six (excluding Pinkie)*, Tourist Trap and Penny Royal*.The Direction Of The Story
Basically, where this story would lead.
For some reason, I've noticed, the comments pointed at Chapter 20 of Laurels: L'amour De Ma Vie as the awesomest, craziest, coolest, *point taken* chapter throughout the whole story, even though I had decided to refresh most of the beginning half (which includes that chapter).
Well, that's where your help comes in, I guess. What do you think was so cool about the chapter that makes you squee with delight? Also, what do you see that might make Diprosopus better than Laurels?Alright, your answer musn't be subtle like 'oh, it was nice' or 'the sing-along songs just fit well' or things like 'the emotions are beautifully captured' and 'the words are awesome'. Same for the other question.
I need something to work with (not fully replicate it, though) and there's going to be a few of this moments in the sequel. I know some of you might be thinking like I'm the author, I came up with that, why can't you do it again, what happened to originality of writers these days, though you have to admit, it's hard to analyze your own essays. I've tried pre-reading my own words and everything just seems perfect, which was what I would never believe about the text myself. The concept is made, but its execution-wise I'm looking at, so no misunderstandings and such, okay-kay?
You'll be credited if you want It's your choice if you want to answer as well!
So... that's pretty much it, I guess.
Keeping my typing fingers crossed.
Having problem uploading the chosen cover image for the story. Some weird bug...
Worst way to end a blog coming in three, two, one....
Arse.
