IMPORTANT RELEASE UPDATES (The Misty Saga, G5 Defense Video, 10-Year Plan, and More)!! · 7:01pm Jun 21st, 2023
Hey, everypony!! So…I gotta head to the dentist in about less than 30 minutes, so I’ll respond to you all of you guys when I get back. Basically, I have some important information that I would like to share with you all regarding the release windows of my upcoming projects, as well as teasing where I would like to take my stories once the Misty Saga concludes. This probably won’t be too long of a post, but I do want to mention a couple things.
First of all, the support you have given me on my last post has been absolutely incredible, so I kinda feel a bit awful for having to say this considering you all are so incredibly hyped for this project, but the G5 defense video has been delayed. Now before you all start panicking, let me say that it is still coming out in due time, but I have some pickups to do on it. The intro for me is way too long, dear Luna is some information outdated, and I want to address the recent news in my conclusion segment. For that reason, I want to tentatively move the release date to either June 30th or July 1st. I still haven’t made my announcement video yet as I’ve been working hard on Redeemed, but I will get around to releasing it, I promise, in which I will reveal the new release date that I’ve settled on. For me, it’s all about getting the video 100% right and precisely the way I want it since it’s the thesis for my whole entire YouTube channel and my rebel cause. The latest that I think it should be out would be July 5th and that is cutting it extremely close. I’m sorry if you all are disappointed by this, but I just have this habit of constantly adding to the video whenever something of substance comes out for fear of some information being outdated or no longer relevant, so you’ll probably see multiple instances throughout in where the video was originally supposed to end, only for me to pop in one second later and be like: “JK!! We’re gonna keep going!” This is because the video went through so many different stages and phases throughout production. At first, it was supposed to be one video, then it was five parts, and now it’s back to one video with the potential for four more parts talking about future G5 content. I know, it’s extremely confusing. I also want to be able to start advertising this thing like mad, such as trailers and stuff, so I need a proper window of time to release these short teasers. I’m gonna try to get the video locked in by the 27th, so I can start advertising, but no promises. I’m working extremely hard and you all deserve the best result possible.
The second thing I want to tease is the new release window of Redeemed. I want Part 1 out by the 6th and Part 2 on the 7th respectively. I’m very close to finishing Part 1, so after I do that, I will then write the official prequel to Worthless, which is under the title of Purpose. For Misty’s core trilogy (which consists of Worthless, Forgiven, and Redeemed), I always like the title to be one word that basically sums up the thematic core of the story. Since the prequel is about Misty questioning her loyalty to Opaline before inevitably doing the deed, and Redeemed is of course about redemption, those are the titles. Purpose will probably release on July 2nd, filling up Redeemed’s original release date and will act as a sort of hype booster for the epic saga-capper, which I currently think is the best story I’ve ever written so far. Let that sink in. You’re gonna love Redeemed.
The last thing I want to tease is basically where I want to go after the Misty Saga ends. Similar to James Gunn with his DCU, I’ve just finished writing a 10-year plan for my tenure on this site, which includes the Lunar Literary Universe, Elseworlds stories, and the potential for another shared universe down the road that acts as a soft reboot of the LLU. That’s right, I already know how it’s going to end and all my stories are currently fully planned out with all the necessary titles attached. After Redeemed releases, I will put out an announcement like James Gunn did, announcing some of the stories I have planned for Chapter 1 of the LLU. It will officially be launched with the release of Izzy Moonbow: Beyond the Multiverse of Randomness, which will restart my continuity of MLP stories that began with I’m Looking Out For You. Yup, all those stories have been all interconnected this whole time in what I call the G5 Universe. But unfortunately, it will be ending so I can move on to greener pastures. This doesn’t mean the end of G5 stories, however. Oh no no no. Not by a long shot. Any future G5 story post-Misty Saga shall be classified under the Elseworlds banner and I do have some titles currently planned.

Take all the time you need! I know all too well what it means to delay your stories! Happened to me more than once due to my university studies and my mandatory field practice this summer.
Yeah, setting up a long term plan definitely helps. I have done the exact same thing with the Justice League of Equestria saga. I already built up a four phase plan similar to the MCU. Though I'm planning to rename them omnibuses in a more comic booky fashion, with each phase consisting of six solo adventures and one team up story at the end. Though actually carrying it out is another matter entirely.

Ten year plan? You're more organised than I am. I'm constantly adapting the narrative arc of my G5 setting on the fly as new stuff is released.
