Story rec: The Good Art

The Good Art, a 1000-word story by TCC56 making fun of art critics. It seems to be exactly the right length, even though that length (1000 words) was pre-determined. The ending is very well set up, and worth reading 1000 words for. Notice after you read it that the final scene is set up by the previous scene, which is set up by the 3 scenes before it, and also even by the cover art.

Someone tell knighty again that the 1000-word requirement is too high.

That's an interesting question, whether the 1000 word minimum is stricter than it should be. I've seen it discussed from different angles. :trolllestia:
