Hey yall,
Just dropping a quick update blog since I haven't posted anything in almost a month, lol.
I think I caught some sort of illness last weekend and I've spent the last week in bed doing literally nothing. I suspect it was when I went on a 10-mile walk in exceptional wind in just a shirt and shorts, so much for trying to stay in shape, right?
The silver lining of that is that the amount of walking I did in the first week of May equated to the amount of steps I'd have done in two weeks, so I'm still ahead of where the goal is at this point in the monthly step challenges on the Samsung Health app. Nice one!
My Miraculous obsession is still going strong, so much so that I've... kinda been fairly inactive on here, for the most part. A few new episodes have came out and I've been raving about those. I haven't read many fanfics recently, mainly due to focusing on end of year exams and other things in life.
I noticed that the ChibiBug blog got 273 views too, thank you so much! If there was one thing that I was doing on this site, it was watching the views tick up on that, awesome!
I've unfortunately been quite lacking with the stories recently. The Horizon Adventures has had some small progress but it isn't much, sorry about that. My second story has kinda dropped off a cliff, I'm not sure where to go next with it really, but I do plan on getting it done. It just mayyyyy be after I finish THA off.
That said, this isn't bad at all. It may sound weird but I need to 'conserve' my patience for writing for the exams that I'll be taking, as a couple of them will consist of longform answers. I've found in the past that trying to put all of my creativity into my schoolwork usually drains it for storywriting and vice versa. Obviously the exams are more important at the moment, so I can't really update things until they're over.
But the good thing is, they're going to be over by mid-June. One month left! And then I can leave this hellhole known as public education.
Either way, things are looking up! I've been tempted to get back into massive fics such as Diaries of a Madman, but with how important the next month is, I simply can't. Might pick it back up in the summer though. I've certainly missed reading stories, as it's a massive part of the whole life routine I've had for the last four years.
Might pick many things back up in the summer, to be honest. I've got a loooot of stuff to look forward to then, and ideally finishing THA will be a part of that. See you soon!
