I completely understand on that aspect (to my own shock, I actually did post a story last year. It wasn't very good, but I was so excited about some news I had, that I just HAD to share that story). Also yeah...I've had that quote on my bio since....ok I don't actually remember when I made that my account quote, but it was a number of years ago and I just never felt it necessary to change it. Princess Luna is still my favorite Princess.
