First: Vinylshadow now has a total of twenty-six 'verse inspired compositions on Soundcloud. Go take a listen. Also, there's only eight followers for that page. Double digits would be nice, don'tcha think?
Second... as said in the title, we've gone through about half of the voting time. I'd like to reach a hundred or more ballots and if some more of you care to give the opinions which get tossed around about everything else, it might be possible. You can still choose my next targeted convention destination and pick the next story to receive cover art by voting here. Also, please vote for only one convention. Geez, people.
(There will be one last get-out-the-vote bullhorn at some point in the last thirty-six hours of the poll. Just in case.)
And lastly? The convention drive, in terms of raising the funds through Ko-Fi, is already on. Once I have a destination assigned to me, I'll do some extra research on all costs involved -- preliminary has already begun for a few possible trips, plus a If All Convention Deadlines Are Missed backup -- and then post the expense breakdown when I announce the winner(s) on March 11th. I need to be honest with everyone about what we're up against. Whatever that turns out to be. And if necessary, I'll adjust the goal amount accordingly.
Regardless, I'm posting the link to my Ko-Fi jar here. One of those deadlines is sorta early.
