"The hell do you mean, Mr. N0?" I hear you ask.
Well, it's been a bit on the interesting side ever since my last update. On the end of personal life stuff, my beloved angel is finally able to take the steps to become a full fledged citizen of this glorious, frozen kingdom I call home. It's going to take a little bit of time, but we're now at the home stretch! On the end of more personal things, I've gotten around to fixing a PS3 controller I had accidentally broken after my best friend Joey made me rage in a game of UMvC3 a while back. It was a hell of an ordeal just to put it back together, but I finally got it all closed up and ready to go. Planning on testing it by playing either some Folklore, Resonance of Fate, or Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. All three games are catching my attention at the moment, especially now that I have a big reason to NOT finish Elden Ring at this time, lol.
On the writing side, I have two things going on. First is that, after printing my book of Elements Change the Dark Hearts and giving the first couple chapters a read, I've realized I've left behind a few mistakes. Not only am I rectifying these issues in the manuscript I have saved for when I decide to make another print or two, but I'm also planning to transfer any re-done chapters to the on-site version here. Gotta make sure that the widely available readable copy is as good as any printed version. The other thing that I've been working on is a variety of side chapters for Elements in Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children, with the main one being a different look at the Season 4 opener, which would now take place about a week after the coronation due to Adna's interference with the plunder weeds in a prior chapter. I tell ya, though, the action scene that I've been currently writing is perhaps my most complicated and I hope it meets expectations in quality. I'm also planning on doing a little lore expansion of my own which hopefully won't break canon (well, if I explain it well enough. If not, I'll just start labeling these stories as an AU, lol). Got a few other chapters lined up to continue writing as well, so stay tuned for those in the future.
Other than that, I got myself a Cynder plush because I'm a sucker for that dark-purple/black dragon from the Legend of Spyro series, and stumbled across Spawn #1 in mint condition and bought it at a nice price. Not much of a comic book guy, but I had #2, and I thought it would be a nice to pair it up with it and make that small collection that much. Finally, I'm debating on when I should take down the Christmas Tree I've still got up (yes, I know, I'm lazy... and I like the lights.)
That's really about it for now. I hope to see my few readers still around here. I'm always looking forward to a little online social activity, especially if it's about games, my writing, or bullshit.
