To Where and Back again Parts One and Two

This is the Season Six Finale, and I have to admit this was really good as it did a fantastic job wrapping up the season's main plot points very well and gave us more world-building with the Changelings. I mainly liked how it was centered around Starlight Glimmer, as most of the episodes focused on her dealing with her past and making amends, and this was the ultimate challenge for her not to

    Thoughts on Top Bolt

This is another episode I felt like abit out of place, but I did enjoy watching it as I relate to Vapor Trail a lot. The idea of this episode is mainly centered around two ponies: a shy, somewhat nervous mare named Vapor Trail and a stallion Pegasus, who is rather full of himself named Sky Stinger. The two usually work as a team as new cadets training to be a part of the Wonderbolt Academy, but

Thoughts on Where the Apple Lies

This episode is one that I would not expect to be in season six, but it was one of my favorite episodes in the season, given how it gives us some backstory to the Apples, which I honestly enjoy when an episode focuses on the Apple family. The episode is basiclly a fable to teach Apple Bloom about telling lies and how Applejack got herself into a heap of trouble lying to Filthy Rich about selling

    Thoughts on P.P.O.V

This episode was odd but good, as it felt like the first time we saw actual conflict between the mane six in a while. I felt like this maybe would work in earlier seasons, but seeing the Mane Six still have conflict with each other despite being friends for a few years now shows they still have issues with each other, and it makes their relationship feel more natural. So basiclly, Pinkie Pie,

Thoughts on "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep" · 4:39pm Feb 4th, 2023

This episode is about guilt and how it can destroy you if you don't handle it properly. Everyone has done something in their lives that they regret, and we all beat ourselves up over stuff we did in the past. This episode shows how that actually doesn't help and really on adds to your suffering and the suffering of others. At the begging of the episode, we see Princess Luna replaying the first episode in a dream, and she's putting herself through this torment for repentance for what she did in the past. However, the "Tantabus," as she calls it, escapes her dream and starts invading the dreams of others. basiclly her actions would cause others to have ongoing nightmares, and with this, she feels even worse and tries to place all the burden of capturing the Tantabus on her own. But this only worsens things as it constantly escapes her and eventually connects itself to everypony who sees it (thanks to Pinkie Pie).

But it seems that regardless of who helps, when the Tantabus and the truth grow much more powerful, they learn that it was due to Princess Luna's guilt causing the Tantabus to grow beyond their control. The issue is that she was so busy punishing herself she didn't realize what she was doing. It wasn't until Twilight and her friends showed her that the princess was doing everything she could to stop the Tantabus from escaping the dream realm that she had changed. With this realization, she stops this Tantabus from escaping and overcomes her guilty conscious.

This episode was much needed as Princess Luna sadly doesn't get much screen time and is left out of the show. But here we see how much Princess Luna regrets her actions as Nightmare Moon and how her overcoming this guilt was needed to help grow her character. If anything, this was a long time coming, and it sucks this episode didn't happen earlier, as she hasn't gotten a full episode to herself since season two! But I appreciate what we got with us finally getting character development for Luna. Also, if anything, I was able to expand on Princess Luna's character in my fanfiction.

Random Thoughts

I loved seeing Big Mac's dream of wanting to turn into a princess alicorn! This was such a fascinating and fun idea that I had to write fanfiction about it.

Seeing giant Derpy was a treat.

I have a story idea for Bon Bon and Lyra connected together in the dream.

Quoting from Brawny Buck's review on it.,
