To my future children, their children or whoever may be curious · 5:33am Jan 10th, 2023

Well, if you're reading this, then you've probably got a lot of questions. I've decided to at least make an effort into becoming a biological father and my means are well, unorthodox at this time to say the least. Legal, of course but a bit out of the ordinary for the world we live in. Oddly, a lot of my friends and people of my generation and younger don't seem that interested in having kids, which I definitely understand. So, I suppose the first thing I should explain is why I wanted to become a father.

If you read any of my other blogs or maybe heard it some other way, you know that I love my own father and had a very wonderful relationship with him. He was a truly loving and giving person, a man that had a good heart and was kind to many. It was my father's wish that I have children, that I keep the family bloodline going, as it was his parents' desire as well. He wanted to be a grandfather but unfortunately, he passed before I could make him one. It would have been nice to show him his grandchild in the hospital room. I deeply regret it didn't happen; he would have made a truly wonderful grandfather.

I loved my father very much and still do. I know that the only way I'll experience that love is if I become a father myself, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to find romantic partners interested in having children. As of now, I'm seeking alternative means- I intend to become a donor parent to a couple. It's not an easy endeavor either, from what I'm experiencing. I still don't know what will happen, but I am hopeful. Hopeful that I could meet someone and help them start a family. I don't know how long it will take, but I will do my very best to make it happen no matter what.

I also do want to do this for myself. It would feel very good to give back to the world, to help people. If you are my child and you're reading this, know that I do love you very, very much despite these strange circumstances. It's not easy and the world you are born into may not be easy, either. I don't know what you'll be or who you'll be, but if nothing else, I hope you are a good person, that you know you come from a good family and that you yourself try to continue it as I am. Those are my only real wishes: do your best to be a good person, whoever you are and try to keep our family going by having biological children of your own. We have good genes, we're smart and resourceful, very funny, sometimes even intentionally. We do have our issues, but we're also an independent bunch, this family, and we resolve things pretty effectively through resolve. Through perseverance.

Myself, I consider myself a creator- not just of you, but also of characters, concepts and stories. I like writing especially, because in this day and age where movies and games and entertainment dominate the media, every form of that media begins with writing. Whether or not the words make it to the screen, someone writes it out. It could be a script or a screenplay or storyboards with dialogue scribbled on them, notes or even drawings, it all begins, or at least the vast majority of it begins at this time by simply writing it out. Pen and paper or keyboard and screen, it all gets written out and typed up eventually. Writing is where ideas come together to create art.

So, I've created a lot of things, mostly from the franchises I've loved throughout my life. Creation is a fascinating concept to me, one of the few permanent things in life. Writing a story or a comic is different from sculpting or building something, painting which will eventually fade with time. Ideas do not truly change; our stories and concepts can only change in interpretation when interpreted by others with the original remaining the same in perpetuity. We can add to ideas, make new ones based on old ones but we can't change the original idea. We can only draw different conclusions from it.

Your existence is something that cannot be undone. Even death does not stop something from existing, nor does fading from memory. What we do and the things we did echo through time, one event leading to the next like ripples across the ocean. Which is why it is so important to be a good person; it is the nature of this universe that the same create the same. Good actions create more good, suffering creates more suffering, animals and plants create more of the same species, not different ones. They may evolve over time, but the originals will still remain. We cannot get the new without the old.

So I leave you with this message, whoever you are. I hope you do good in this world because it's the only way things improve. This world we live in now, at the time of writing, things look pretty bleak for humanity. We've suffered through a viral pandemic, we are more divided politically than we've ever been, the threat of war seems to be on the horizon once again and inflation is causing prices of various goods and services, even many critical goods and services to increase. Inflation has made living very difficult and nearly unaffordable because of utility bills, gasoline and groceries. I would hope things would be better in your time, and I'm going to do my best to help out now. I'm just one person but I would rather try and fail than give up.

Great speech my friend.
And I wish you luck in that endeavor. I also want to start a family someday in the future.
