I'm hoping for the same.
As it is I'm trying to get my own MLPxARK story started and going. But I have another story that takes precedent, and I haven't yet figured out how much I want in the way of real-world physics compared to video game physics; like a group of survivors getting ambushed by a low level raptor, and one of the survivors jumping onto its back and suddenly the raptor is encumbered by having over 100 pounds of its weight limit eaten up.
I also hope to see more prehistoric animals in the series.

Indeed. Would be nice to even see creatures that aren’t In vanilla Ark (without mods) but are exclusive for the show.

Realism and game mechanics are things I’ve been keeping an eye on, as well.
For ex: there’s no way in heck Spike could, let’s say, heal a limb that got bitten off just from eating meat—WHILE still fighting the beast that bit his limb off.
Funniest part for me was when we get a first person shoot from the naked guy getting his axe, really hope we see more stuff like that.
