Background info:
In the Hero Maiden AU, Pharynx sets up a birthday party and gets a gift for Apex. Thor and Ocellus were supposed to help, but they are busy with Ember and Smolder. Nonetheless, he sends Apex a letter and waits for Apex to show up. Eventually, someling tells him that Apex is out with Zenex on a date. So Pharynx set up everything by himself, only for everything to in the end by absolutely worthless. He doesn’t immediately lose hope, and he sits in the café, waiting for the possibility of Apex might walk in.

He never does.

Pharynx kinda sorta has a mental breakdown, and goes on a murder spree, victims include Zenex, Ember, and Smolder, that culminates with a full on mental breakdown.

It’s later revealed that his “murder spree” was just some hallucination, and all he did was smash up the party.
