Motherboard died · 7:36pm Dec 3rd, 2022
So just got back from my buddy who knows computers. We both thought it was a hard drive issue but it turned out to be the motherboard. Because it just started blue screening, restarting, bluescreen, reset, and got into a loop like that. My buddy's helping to search for a refurbished computer that's within my price range.
good news is that I keep my chapters on a google drive so the glacial progress I've made hasn't been lost.
how much do you need?
I'm not sure yet.
I think I got my refurbished computer for 200-400, I have enough to buy a new one but the same friend that helped me diagnose the problem (the blue screen-restart loop eventually stopped giving us stop codes after we changed the hard drives, tried to reinstall windows, nothing worked) is helping me find another refurbished computer.
Sad to hear about your computer troubles. I know how that feels losing your comp.
Be happy that you have someone knowledgeable in computers to help you find one.
Yep, that's why I have an external harddrive, 3 SD cards, and 3 thumb drives.
(And then EVERYTHING crashes...)
That's not fair. That's not fair at all. There was time now!

No matter what precautions you make, be sure the universe will still find a way to screw you... because it's run by Discord!
