What a nightmare. But are you sure it was plagiarism? Maybe you just wrote a poor attempt at parody or tribute and forgot to acknowledge your source.

It was a stunning display of plagiarism. I believe what happened was that I saw a story, said "this is the kind of story I'd write", took the text and inserted my own characters, and posted it. A real "What the hell, brain?" situation.
The sheer cussedness of the subconscious is often awe-inspiring.
