May be late for some, and you may be reading this in the morning, but Halloween has ended, and I had a pretty good time scaring trick or treaters. Pictured above is my costume; I'm a Satanic cultist. But I played statue up front and next to the bowl of candy. Needless to say, a few kids were on edge, unsure if I was a statue or not.
I just wish I didn't live so back and by the walls in my area. Not a lot of kids come to my area, and I still have a lot of leftover candy. Oh well, more for me.
Though the funniest moment is two African American kids came. First was a tween while the other was a teenager, walking their dog. Tween kid was freaking out a lot while the other was telling him to stop acting like a girl. The entire time, I'm trying to stay still but hold back my laughter because I'm just standing there... Menacingly. It was a few minutes, but I broke and gave him his candy... But not before giving him another scare where I pulled my dagger out and simply said "Now run.". Needless to say, he screamed and booked it.
That whole scene made my night, and I wished more kids came like that.
That's adorable.
