I don't preread a lot of stories, but here's one I did that is worth a look: Resolution by xjuggernaughtx.

It's an interesting look at the sirens and a somewhat overlooked detail of their appearance in the second EQG movie. Give it a read, it'll be worth your time.

Bronycon was a lot of fun. The panels, downtown Baltimore and the harbor, and last but very much not least the people. Meeting folks who I've known so long online was quite a thing in and of itself, and for some of those people to be genuinely interested in me and appreciative of the comments I leave, it was a great experience. If my schedule and finances work out alright I am already planning on attending again next year.

I don't exactly have a lot of follower bandwidth, in fact the amount I have at all is fairly surprising, but if you have some time this evening I would recommend taking a look at the recently posted story The Quest by iisaw. It's a good story with some really neat world-building and a fascinating premise, you most likely would not regret spending some time on it.
