Why are these words so commonly mixed up? For fuck's sake, I see this grammar mistake most of all during stories I read, even among writers I consider tops.
Peaked:
Adjective
1. Having a peak
2. Gaunt and pale from illness or fatigue
Peeked:
Verb
1. Look quickly, typically in a furtive manner
2. Protrude slightly so as to be just visible.
