You came from DA? Alright, while I hate to bash DA's authors, they just aren't to par. You see, the people who browse DA's stories, aren't really... qualified. The people on this site critique stories as a hobby. People on DA don't at all. That's the difference; this is a writing site with writers and readers on it, not artists. There's a lot of bad quality shit on DA that no one cares about, or people like for some reason, but here; things are different. If it's bad, it gets wrecked, then explored.

I know it's difficult, but trust me, I dealt with this starting out too... Just relax and read more stories. I suggest seeking out more... noticeable Fictions.
