So yeah, things are going absolutely spectacularly for my writing life right now. In order, here's what happened over the weekend:

1. Memoirs of a Magic Earth Pony officially breached the 100,000 word barrier, which makes me so excited I think I might explode. That's over a year's worth of continual work and I'm damn proud I've gotten this far. Here's to 300,000 more! or however many it takes to detail Starswirl's life.

So yeah, I just finished the next chapter, clocking in at 2,600 words and I've got to say, that was epic. Not the content as much as the experience writing it. I was flying, typing at full tilt and just writing everything that came to me. This is one of the reasons why I keep writing. There's no reason why I should get this damn excited about writing, but holy crap you really can't get me much more excited than I just was.

I think I need to take a break O.o I'm exhausted.

Alright, I'm going to wait until Friday to post so I can go through the chapter, but I sat my ass down and wrote until I got this one done. I'm really sorry about not having these updates as regularly, but life has been rather... obtrusive over the past few weeks. Thanks to most of you for not forming lynch mobs and storming my college!

Final's week has been hitting pretty hard, and I was planning on writing today, but we had some pretty severe storms and a tornado that just missed us, so I was focused on that.

Just posting this to let you know that I'm going to be delayed if i can release this week.

So, I didn't get the chapter updated this past Friday. I'm sorry, I wanted to, but I was caught up doing something else.

What might that something else be? Well, considering I'm decent at making videos, I'm currently making the update videos for Ambient.Prologue. And by making, I mean I'm compiling the motion graphics as well as writing and voicing the script. It's a lot of fun, but it's a lot of work too. So, I focused on the video this week instead of Memoirs of a Magic Earth Pony.

So I've been writing today, around 2000 words to be precise, and the next chapter of MoaEP is finished! However, that came at the cost of my security and a healthy dose of fear. Basically, without any spoilers, Starswirl was in the lab alone and I was making it kinda creepy because, you know, creepy is fun, right?
