Anyway, after working in the retail environment known as Wal-Mart, I have come to a conclusion. I am really happy that I don't need a lot of stuff to make me happy. It's an odd thought but I just wanted to write it down.

Hey every pony, just got back from watching Equestria Girls and I must say that while the overall story was about on par with Hasbro's current track record with adventure stories I left the theater feeling good that I saw it. If you couldn't tell I'm really excited right now. The reason? I passed the music audition for the Marine Corp. Turns out if you work really hard for something you can in fact get it. Still have a ton of work to do and things to improve on, but I made it in and they are excited to have me.

On another note, I started doing pull up exercises two weeks ago and couldn't do one. Now I can do four. I was also able to (somehow) run six miles in 54 minutes and 34 seconds.

It's funny, but sometimes I think that we each get the jobs we get because we need to learn something essential from the job for our personal development. I was thinking that it is a good time to reflect on where I've been and how those jobs have shaped me into the person I am today.
