Neil Part Thirteen is Up · 1:02am March 4th
Enjoy, and thanks for waiting.
Are you ready?
Salvete!
Part thirteen of Neil is due to release this coming Sunday.
I apologize for this long overdue release, over two years in the making. But, I still managed to cobble together part thirteen, sometimes one paragraph built over lunch breaks at a time. Part fourteen is halfway done, and it will conclude the Beskar and Fire mini saga.
My apologies to everyone for the false update. I pressed the publish button while editing the new chapter. No update for today, sorry again.
Salvete,
It's been a while since my last activity update. Regrettable, but this last year left me with few opportunities to write here consistently. I am writing part thirteen of Neil, and it is almost done.
I know better than to give an exact date; just know it'll be ready soon. This story, and myself, are still very much alive.
That is all. Hope you've been well since our last meeting.
Valete.
Salvete!
Part 12 is done. And will be published at 5:00 P.M on the 10th. That's later today as I write this.
I feel more comfortable with the editing job on this installment. If I missed anything, I'm sure someone will point it out. But, it shouldn't be nearly as bad as the last two parts.
See you at 5.
Valete.
Salvete!
Okay, I'm going to address what went wrong back there in new years. I said, and I quote:
Suffice it to say, Part Twelve will be published this month. It just needs a little more time.
Obviously, that did not happen, and I went dark about it for two weeks after the missed due date.
Salvete,
In the last general update, I mentioned my plans to post Part Twelve before Christmas. Unfortunately, I must extend the publish date to before New Years.
Shocking, I know, with my impeccable history of always posting on time. <--- Obviously not sarcasm.
I want to make certain this next chapter is as well edited as I can make it, considering the train wrecks the last two chapters have been in terms of polish. Rushing things ends badly. Who knew?
Salvete,
I found yet another inconsistency I corrected.
The part in question is when Neil realized Zeus stole his fire, i.e. his ability to control his dreams, once he attempted to mentally travel to Mandalore.
I mistakenly made Luna say this happened to her, which is incorrect, and I meant it the other way around. It seems I had a consistency issue with Luna's dialogue this time around. Oh well. That's life for you.
