This is a big one. Nearly 5000 words, this time. I never write something this long. But I think this chapter warrants it.

The rewritten chapter 8 is done. It's off to the editors.

Can't say exactly when it'll get released due to some IRL stuff but I guarantee it'll be worth it. It's at just over 4000 words! Easily the longest thing I've written for over a year. I just couldn't stop cramming in scenes.

Next chapter's looking to be a beefy one. It's already the second-longest of the rewritten chapters, and it's only just over halfway done. It'll probably be over 3,000 words when its done, which is rare for me nowadays.

This isn't a new chapter but I wanted to give an update regarding The Soul's Savior.

I'm so sorry for the lack of new chapters. Truth be told, my mental health hasn't been great recently. I've been in some dark places and I'm not sure if I'm better yet but I'm trying. My anxiety has been through the roof and it feels like everything is out to kill me. I don't know what caused me to suddenly feel this way.

Hey everyone. I've got a bit of an update for y'all.

For anyone not aware, just over a week ago I was diagnosed with COVID-19. As you can imagine, that put a bit of a damper on... well, everything. Practically my entire family got a positive test. It really fucking sucked. Being sick is never fun, but this is worse. I was lucky in that the symptoms I dealt with were relatively minor, and I still felt like death.
