Health + Story Update · 9:29am Oct 9th, 2020
Hey everyone. I've got a bit of an update for y'all.
For anyone not aware, just over a week ago I was diagnosed with COVID-19. As you can imagine, that put a bit of a damper on... well, everything. Practically my entire family got a positive test. It really fucking sucked. Being sick is never fun, but this is worse. I was lucky in that the symptoms I dealt with were relatively minor, and I still felt like death.
But I'm doing better. Health department says I can come out of quarantine. I'm still a little under the weather, so I'm still planning on self-isolating for at least a few more days, but other than that I'm fine. My grandparents are fine, thank god. My siblings are fine. I'm extremely fortunate that everyone in my family got through this alright. I can't say how relieved and thankful I am for that. I'm not a religious person, but I thank God that everyone I love is okay.
On the writing side of things, I did manage to make some progress on The Soul's Savior. I just need to write maybe one or two more scenes, then it's off to editing. I went back to the original version of the chapter, and.... man. What a trainwreck. I hope that this version of the story ends up being something I can look back on and not cringe.
But yeah. I'm doing better. The next chapter's almost done.
