So I think it's time I finally make another blog post. As you can tell from the title, this is about the state of Familial Bonds. My original plans for the story were to have short chapters exploring Spike's relationships with each of the princesses, including Flurry Heart. Each new chapter would have jumped forward in time to some extent, and each princess would have two chapters written about their relationship with Spike. Except for Celestia.

Today, for the first time ever. I had to put down one of my dogs. She was 12 years old and suffering from cancer. She lives much longer than any of us expected to. I think everyone knew she was going to have to be put down, but we all thought we'd know when it was going to happen. We didn't.

I've just started writing the first chapter for a collection of one-shots centered around the royal family and their relationships with each other. I'll post it either today, or tomorrow if I actually get it done. It is the first time that I've written something in a long while, so any feedback is appreciated once I do publish it. The title of the story is: Familial Bonds.

I've finally managed to finish FS/F nearly three years after it originally was published, spent a few days trying to find the damn thing on here, don't know how I managed to get lucky with it.

Anyways, after I found it, I spent a lot of my time re-reading all the previous chapters for a few days. Last night I finally finished it. And I gotta say, I really loved the ending to it. How everything was wrapped up once and for all. I don't really feel the need for a sequel to tie up loose ends.
