My Little Metro has finally breached the impossible barrier of 200,000 words. This is now my official, longest ever written thing. I might as well add an epilogue chapter or something with the wariness people have had about the ending. I did mean to end it on a light-hearted note (in fact, the original ending was very somber and depressing even compared to the current one), but it seems too much was left unspoken. I don't like having to explain too much in comments like I did with that story; it means the story didn't speak enough on its own.
