Nothing groundshaking, no retcons to speak of, just clarifying text. I also fixed a few troubling grammar issues. Past me is not the best with grammar, present me is getting there, but I expect future me to consider present me an idiot. Still thats Future me's problem, in the meantime I have past me's mistakes to correct.

Again, to everyone who read the chapter as it was, I apologize. I did my OC a disservice and had to correct it. The chapter reads better for it.

I applogize to those of you who read and commented on it, but upon reflection I believe I made a horrible error in how I resolved the element of loyalty chapter. it will be reposted once I am satisfied I am doing the character and dash justice.

In an effort to be slightly less of a hack I have revised chapter one, nothing significant or story changing but it is now less of an affront to the senses. Also the new chapter is coming, just as soon as my prereader wakes up and gives me the go ahead. To everyone who, after reading chapter one, kept reading afterwards, thank you so much for your patience with me.

Won't be long, maybe a few days, week at the most. I've taken the story in a direction that will require action scenes. I need to practice them because frankly, a bad sequence is just horrible to read. I also intend to build up a buffer of chapters so I can do things like have someone preread them, edit in advance, you know things competent sane authors do. I shall return shortly.

18k words in, 16 chapters, and I think... yes I am pretty sure now. The story seems to have some form of coherent underlying plot to it!
I am so excited! I can't wait to see what happens next!
