I've wheedled and nitpicked my contest entry more than enough by now. After adding an epilogue and putting it through another editing pass, it shall now stand as it is, not only to be judged for the contest, but also to be judged worthy of EqD. Wish me luck.

After finally getting what I think is a fairly unique idea over a month into the contest, and nearly four weeks of nibbling at the first 3200 words of my entry, I banged through the other half completely over the course of a single day. It just started flowing and would not stop.
It's been sent off to be preread now that we have two extra weeks, but I am very happy to at least have finished the principle writing before the original deadline.
Most of you have probably come across this through one channel or another, but more publicity can't hurt.
The very talented Scribbler has done a reading of Rated Ponystar's AppleDash contest winning Treating Her Right.
This is likely to be the second most ambitious of all the 15 ships (I'm saving my beloved AppleDash for last and I intend to make that one a doozy) and it may take a while to complete. I'm not sure yet exactly which of the remaining 6 prompts this will fit (it could end up fitting a couple different ones by the time I'm done), but I hit upon this idea and I shall make it happen.
