That's pretty much the long and short of it. My car is totaled, and I'm walking away unscathed, but I'm very aware if the timing was off by just seconds... I would have died today.

As it is, I'm going to have to force myself into debt to afford a car to replace the one that busted today. I just... I dunno. I have to file a report, meet with a loan adviser, pick out and purchase a new vehicle... I have work to get to, and I need a vehicle to make the commute.

As I was hit with inspiration on how I'm going to approach the 11th chapter of The Literary Appeal, I realized I was finally confident enough with doing the necessary edits to submit it to Equestria Daily. And really, I want to make a statement with this fic, and release it with some cover art like some authors do when they grow too big for their britches. I want britches.

Also, I'm considering going back and "removing" the Cantering Appeal, if only because I want to place the parts where they belong, i.e. Many of the segments belonged at the end of previous chapters, but at the time I just threw each segment I wrote into a separate word doc and said I'll put it in later. Then the idea grew that I would just do a single chapter, but that proved messy and.... stuff.
