    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

Act II of The Literary Appeal has been started. · 5:21am Jan 20th, 2013

Just thought you ought to know.

Also, I'm considering going back and "removing" the Cantering Appeal, if only because I want to place the parts where they belong, i.e. Many of the segments belonged at the end of previous chapters, but at the time I just threw each segment I wrote into a separate word doc and said I'll put it in later. Then the idea grew that I would just do a single chapter, but that proved messy and.... stuff.

Stuff happened, and now my ideals have changed. The only issue, I've found, is that then I'd have this extra, empty chapter lying around. If I delete it, then would that delete everyone's comments and responses? Call me vain, but I'd like not to lose those.

Either way, we're back to Cheerilee and Twilight, enjoying their time as a couple... well, at least trying to~...

Being in a middle of a rewrite myself, I know how you feel. You could always revoke the chapter and make changes. As far as I know (double check with mods first) you won't lose comments for that chapter. But, I would save that as a last resort. Ideas always change and grow over time and you might find a better middle ground to work from without sacrificing existing continuity. Good luck and I can't wait to read more.

Why not just change it into an 'authors notes' thing at the end, linking to any stories inspired by this one as well as the sequel and giving a brief history of the fic?

Keeps the comments, keeps the chapter, gives us insight into your writing process, it's win/win/win.

I really don't mind it as is, but Chinlamp (love to know the etymology behind that name) seems to have a viable suggestion there. A little kludgey, but it'd get the job done to, if not everyone's satisfaction, then at least everyone's contentment.

Also, just letting you know that Literary Appeal is my favourite fic about my favourite pairing. CheeriTwi For Life!
