So where is TLA, Discord's Reign, etc.
Well, truth is I haven't started the next chapter of TLA(scrapped what I had), and Discord's Reign... I might scrap what I have(which is basically the whole chapter. Gotta run it by some guys), because I wasn't feeling it. Discord's Reign got much harder when I heard rumor of Discord's Return, and it's a pain to craft a character who will have the change that shows in Keep Calm and Flutter On. I could go the route of full on AU, but I'd be cheating my intentions.
As for TLA, I've been absolutely beat with work and exams. Even on Spring Break, the ever-present loom of exams, homework, and then going out and helping friends move has made storycrafting difficult. It's a lot of work, and I hate to have that get in the way of storytelling. But it is what it is.
The Literary Appeal is, first and foremost, a fic that is as enjoyable to write as it is to read. If it's a slog, it comes out wrong, jokes are forced, and it's worse for it. I've always written it to make myself laugh and be happy, and I won't lie - I've lost readers for it. Scarlet Letter herself is a very, very polarizing character. But that's what makes me love her so much- she incites reaction and discussion! She disgusts people, or she makes them laugh uproariously. That's the type of pony she is, and it's truly, truly fantastic to read comments and reactions every chapter.
I love you guys, the readers, those who make comments. It lets me know what I'm doing right.. Misdirection and half-truths is a huge theme in TLA, and it's great to see the theories you guys have come up with- even though when a couple of you are so on the nose it hurts. =P
Stories incoming... in time. Be patient, I promise not to make you wait like I did between November and- what was it, January? February? Yeesh.
Don't worry I can wait.
I can wait. It's worth it
