    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

I need Title Art for the Literary Appeal. · 5:16am Feb 11th, 2013

As I was hit with inspiration on how I'm going to approach the 11th chapter of The Literary Appeal, I realized I was finally confident enough with doing the necessary edits to submit it to Equestria Daily. And really, I want to make a statement with this fic, and release it with some cover art like some authors do when they grow too big for their britches. I want britches.

Now, the more attuned of you would probably go, "But HiddenBrony—" and then I'd interrupt you and go "CALL ME HYDE GOSH GEEZ." But then you'd cover that mistake like it never happened and be all, "But Hyde, you're an EqD pre-reader! Why submit to yourself?"

Well, my dear friends, it is because EqD has standards that, sometimes, I feel like I don't live up to by way of my own writing. Lord knows I go back to read some of my previous works and go, "Okay... okay what was I thinking here?" Even some of the ones that are ON EqD, I don't feel like they're up to snuff. Either way, I think The Literary Appeal is there... sort of.

The Literary Appeal is, without a doubt, the most work I've put into a story. It's also, thankfully, the most fun. I've made mistakes along the line I plan to correct retroactively(The Cantering Appeal will be broken up and put in their proper places throughout the story, rather than tossing Fancy's journey at the reader all at once), but all in all I find it solid, good fun(did I really make a Step 1: X, Step 2: ???, Step 3: Profit joke? Where my axe at?).

But yeah, I thought maybe, juuuuuuuuuuuuust maybe, I'd make the call out to the public to see if I could perchance ask one of you to show your love for a story that has made you laugh. I hope it doesn't come off as selfish, or anything, but as adorable as Twilight eskimo kissing Cheerilee is, I want a bit... more, than that.

FUNFACT: The entire scene with the knife in the restaurant was entirely because of the current cover art. Eagle Eyed readers will notice that the vector of Cheerilee is missing a large part of her mane!

If I had any drawing skill, I'd do this in a heartbeat. Don't worry about it HB, you're not to big for your britches, you've been around long enough and have enough people that know your name that I'm surprised there hasn't been someone who offered yet. Or that there hasn't been fanart of any of the scenes yet.

Have fun with the edits!

I'm still trying to get myself into drawing again, so I won't be much help. But, since Cheerilight is a thing now, you could probably find some decent artwork out there or someone talented and bored enough to make some for free.

Im so gonna give this a shot. Ive been waiting for someone to need cover art :yay:

I hope im not too late already :applecry:
