You take a deep breath. You can feel the weight of the cave walls closing in on you, almost fighting to stop your breath. Darkness lies ahead, pierced by the light of your lantern and the flash of the blade you were given by the wood cutter. Yet, you have this task, and before you find someone else it might already be too late. You press on against the shadows.
I was away today, and only just got to watch the episode. It was another all right episode, featuring a new song, good character dynamic and some fun. The moral of the episode was wonderful, although I'm not sure why Rarity had to learn it as well. It irks me a tad that we don't have the custom credits roll tracks anymore. I hope they'll return soon. I don't have much to say about this one in terms of lore or world-building or anything, but let's go!
I like this episode. While it doesn't explore the topic in-depth, it does a pretty good job indirectly addressing Fluttershy's own growth through her brother and her parents. Also, we get to learn more about the relations between characters.
The moral is rather appropriate and positive, too. Now then, unto the thoughts!

All right, this is a bit of an interesting episode. Obviously, this marks another milestone for Rarity, having been able to expand her business twice with success, gradually rising in renown. She's achieving her ambition! Only, one thing, at least her friends fear, might stand in the way of this. More on the story-telling than the interaction, which is an all right approach, and though it would have benefited from extended time for things to be fleshed out, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Well, this was okay. I enjoyed it. So cringe-worthy, but not really bad. I think the central message for the episode, on how to cope with achieving your dream and not quite being able to get things the way you want it shouldn't hinder you from making the best of it all, is rather positive and helpful. This is an episode that had me worried since last week when I was surprised by its announcement. I've been waiting for Trixie's return, ever since the wait for Season 5, and I was happy to learn she'd return for this episode, but for that synopsis.
This was a pretty sweet episode. Nothing spectacular, just enjoyable. Nothing much else to be said, but as the new writers grow, we might get something as interesting as it is sweet. Unto the thoughts~
