I was a tiny bit surprised, as I'd been expecting Twilight. Huh. I wonder if I ended up with this result because I non-ironically say "Howdy" and like the color orange ...

For anyone who's interested, the rewrite of "Mutual Assured Destruction" is now posted to "The Shipping Chronicles." It's been extensively reworked and is at least twice as long as the original and, overall, I believe it's a much stronger piece now.

As we were watching today's episode, the Beloved Spouse (who is an honest-to-god nuclear physicist) noticed that the doctor at the hospital was looking at an x-ray at one point and turned to me to say, "Nuclear physics is canon!" As without nuclear physics, we wouldn't have x-rays and radiography.

So, there ya go. Nuclear physics--the ponies has it. Kinda puts Rainbow Dash's atomic rainbow cloud into a new perspective.
