Happy Pi Day, by the way. This was the best Pie-family related derivation of the number 21 that I could think of.

22 is the number of days on which at least one new episode has aired which contains a bewinged Twilight Sparkle. In other words, it's the number of episodes since "Magical Mystery Cure" in which Twilight appears, counting each two-parter as a single episode.

I hope I counted that right, and didn't forget a minor appearance.

23 is the average number of episodes per season so far, rounded to the nearest integer.

I'm sorry. I'll try to make this the closest I ever get in this countdown to repeating myself. But what are you even supposed to do with a number like 23? No offense, 23, but I don't like you at all. I don't like any primes over 5.

24 is the number of times we have seen an Element of Harmony used successfully on Discord; i.e. it is the number of times we have seen Discord affected by the Elements times the number of Elements.

So apparently I was wrong. No comic this week.

25 is the sum of the number of cupcakes Twilight expected to get and the number she actually got in Sugarcube Corner on the day that Celestia had to explicitly say that friendship reports were to be sent only at the rate that friendship lessons were naturally learned.

26 is of course the number of episodes we expect to be in season 5.

Sorry about starting this on easy mode. By the time I thought of this last night, I was already about to go to sleep, and I just couldn't think of anything for 27 quickly enough to care. But don't worry; I'm pretty sure easy mode only lasts one day.
