22 is the number of days on which at least one new episode has aired which contains a bewinged Twilight Sparkle. In other words, it's the number of episodes since "Magical Mystery Cure" in which Twilight appears, counting each two-parter as a single episode.

I hope I counted that right, and didn't forget a minor appearance.
