Keeping this nice and short: I have no idea if I will be able to update BGH the next couple of weeks, and it's very unlikely I will be cleanly on time on the usual Friday afternoon time. I'll do my best, but I make no promises.

A Beginner's Guide to Heroism will be updating Fridays at roughly 5 PM (US East) for the foreseeable future. I have a new oneshot comedy (trash) fic, Yer A Wizzard, Twilight! that should be out whenever it gets through the submission queue, and another one or two stored up for the next couple of weeks.

Anyway, due to an act of God (a Google drive server outage), I'm going to be delaying this week's BGH chapter by one day. Expect BGH tomorrow, August 9th.

This time, I can't make that same claim; I spent the time I could have had writing this week on a different goal.

Hello, everyone who's reading BGH. Just a quick status update.

Due to some... let's gently call it "editing necessities" on the current chapter, A Beginner's Guide to Heroism will be taking one week off. I'm extremely sorry for the delay, but I also believe that a one-week hiatus is a far better option than compromising the quality of the narrative. The next update will be posted on Monday, June 28th, at ~5 or 6 PST (basically, when I get off work).

Today's BGH will be late; expect it either later today or tomorrow.

When I planned to do the schedule change to Monday, I knew that I would be at my parent's place for Memorial Day. What I did not accommodate for was that my parent's place currently has no Internet access. My LTE on the phone is working fine, but that's not sufficient to post the chapter.
