So, where did 'Wicked Games' come from? What spawned this idea, and what is the background behind it?

The next chapter is going to include a lot of backstory and details regarding the past, as well as the present, some of which I'm still working out. Hey, all! Sorry for the long silence. I've been dealing with personal issues and a spat of depression.
