Hey everyone, Sunset here. Just a quick update to the craziness going on here at ground central. We had a few... unfortunate delays due to equipment malfunctions and replacement times being ridiculously long due to the impact of COVID-19. But, I'm happy to let you all know that things are once again proceeding on Rose's rather lax schedule of writing and releasing.
Well, like the rest of the world, I am under Stay-At-Home orders because of COVID-19. And I don’t have a lot of writing work to show for it.
However, due to conventions closing because of the outbreak, some people suddenly have cash on hand so orders for the plush work my fiancé and I do shot through the roof. At the moment of writing we had 17 standing orders and work more or less from 11.00 to 22.00, with time for meals and such. It’s a lot and it’s a lot of detail work.
So, today I’m departing from the normal updates to let you all know that my Aunt’s new book just went up for preorder on the Kindle store.
It’s something of a thriller and her second book overall, so I’m really looking forward to it.
“So, Sonata,” Aria said, cradling her coffee mug in her hands. “Pinkie and I have discussed it and if you’re ok with it, you can move in with us.”
“But you’ve only got the two bedrooms,” I stammered. This was all swirling around too quickly. between being an aunt and being dumped by my fiancé, I was foundering. A lot of what I had taken for granted was crumbling at the foundation and I wasn’t even sure this offer would help me at all.
After much deliberation and consideration of the various personalities of the characters in my Homecoming timeline, I have decided to promote a story from an Omake to full-fledged canon.
Not a major one, but just for information, about the various arcs of the series rather than specific stories.
Arc One (Love): From Homecoming through Into the Sunset - Senior year of High School through Graduation and into that summer.
New Year, new projects, new plans!
So one resolution already broken: try not to be as bratty in teasing family. First thing today? Big sis calls.
Sigh
I love her, but so fun teasing her back, Nya?
So a bit of housekeeping to do. Firstly, we’ll be seeing some new Homecoming stuff soon, just got to actually finish it and ship to editors. I’ll also start pecking away on Truth of the Heart this coming weekend and possibly have it up soon as well.
So it’s that time of year.
Endings, beginnings, warm treats and delicious sweets.
This year marks a passing in my life that I wasn’t sure I’d ever see. I’m out on my own with my GF and not scrambling to pay every bill anymore.
Is this adulting?
On the seventh, I adopted Truth of the Heart from Scipio, and a lot of you were excited.
Today, I passed 850 words on the new chapter and feel like I'm only halfway there. I have a pretty solid plan for what is what and how to follow the notes given to me, but I think I'll leave most of that for later.
For those of you waiting patiently... or not... You may find a treat below the break. Spoilers, btw, just to be safe.
Ready?
Everything hurt.
